Any good Christmas songs?

I'm tired of listening to the classical Christmas songs like: we wish you a merry christmas, and jingle bells, silent night, santa clause is coming to town, etc.

Reply:You're probably just tired of the recordings not the actual songs so my advice is to go find some Christmas albums by artists you like or in a particular genre.





My personal favorite this year is Sufjan Stevens' Songs for Christmas where he performs classic songs and original compositions in a great indie-folk style.





If you've been brought up on the likes of Bing Crosby and Dean Martin then you might want to look for stuff by the Beatles, Coldplay and Oasis or you might enjoy Sarah McLachlan, Dido and Enya or perhaps some classical choral recordings or even someone like Maddy Prior singing carols with medieval instruments.

Reply:look up hard candy christmas by dolly parton. it is really nice, good, and sweet. you will get addicted to it very fast. i've been listening to it for at least 3 days now and it hasn't gotten old. Its a very nice song.
