True or false?- Carol of the Bells is the dumbest Christmas song ever.?

The song sounds wicked and dark. Not that there's anything wrong with wicked and dark. But wicked and dark just sounds really dumb as a Christmas song. Really dumb.

True or false?- Carol of the Bells is the dumbest Christmas song ever.?
Dumbest Christmas song? I bet you've never heard

"The Christmas Shoes"

I
Reply:In my opinion that song isn't really that dark or wicked, it just depends on which orchestra is playing. Especially when you get to the climax, then it has some of that happyness. granted, it is a little dark, but in a beautiful and melodic way
Reply:Maybe- I haven't heard it. BUT I think that Barbara Streisand's version of Jingle Bells is the most ANNOYING christmas song ever.
Reply:Actually, I find "Rockin' around the Christmas Tree" one of the most irritating ones I've ever heard. I know there are ones that are even worse, but fortunately I don't get bombarded by those the way I do with this one. I recently heard "Oh, Holy Night" sung by some female country artist (Sorry, can't remember the name) that was the absolute worst version of that wonderful song I've ever heard from a so-called professional. Her record label should be sued for having released it.
Reply:actually...I like that song. doesnt sound wicked or dark to me.
Reply:I think it is a great song, sorry.
Reply:I say false. I like the Carol of the Bells. It's not wicked and dark.

It's rather complicated, actually. (the rounds, I mean)

Some very "dumb" Christmas songs:

1) Christmas Shoes

2) Dominick the Donkey

3) The 12 pains of Christmas

4) Grandma got run over by a reindeer.

Now, these are "really dumb."
Reply:False. It's darkness makes it entirely appropriate as a holiday song celebrating the Winter Solstice--The longest and darkest night of the year.
Reply:False. That stupid song Christmas Shoes is the dumbest Christmas song ever. The kid is buying shoes for his mother who is DYING. Don't you think he could put the money to better use?
