Our school is asking for food donations
I ring bells for Christmas for the Salvation Army this is how I help,how mite we all help the needy people??
I do my bit by donating time, money and clothing. But I prefer to be a bit more personal so every year I go to the Salvation Army and adopt a family for the Holidays. This year I have chosen a single Dad with 2 little girls to help. They never know who I am though but I provide them with food and the kids with presents for the holiday.
Reply:Take food to the food banks. They are in great need. Give up a couple of your starbuck coffee and donate that 6 buck to the food bank. If would probably feed a family of 4 for one day.

Reply:Even if you don't go to church, by giving to one you can help them give to the homeless,run food pantry's, sponser a child for private school here in the neighborhood where you can see your money at work. You can even tell them how you want your money spent (I want this money to go to this family for christmas/that nursing home for presents) I volunteer my services visiting nursing homes with my dog, a licensed therapy dog.
